Color Vision 2020
Submission Opens: 1 Oct 2019
Submission Deadline: 1 Nov 2019
This feature issue of JOSA A is based on the 2019 Symposium of the International Colour Vision Society (ICVS), which was held in Riga, Latvia, 5-9 July 2019 (https://www.icvs2019.lu.lv/). While meeting participants are particularly encouraged to submit their work, the feature is open to all other researchers in the related area.
As with the previous Color Vision feature issues, the scope will span basic-science and applied approaches to the study of color vision, including perception and psychophysics, physiology and anatomy, functional imaging, genetics, and color-vision deficiencies.
All papers need to present original, previously unpublished work, and will be subject to the normal standards and peer-review process of the journals. To be eligible for publication, the paper needs to add substantial and/or significant new information. Please see OSA’s guidelines on expanded conference papers.
Manuscripts must be prepared according to the usual standards for submission to JOSA A; see the Information for Contributors in any printed issue or the OSA Style Guide. Manuscripts must also be uploaded through OSA's electronic submission system. All manuscripts must be submitted to the JOSA A. Please specify that the manuscript is for the Color Vision 2020 feature (choose from the feature issue drop-down menu).
